Get the entire gamut of the things, which will let you model and evaluate the organization’s workflows. Thus you’ll know what are the bottlenecks of your business processes and how they can be improved with the help of the BPM software tools.

  1. Process design

This is the moment when you have to take a decision on the issues detected in the previous phases. Now you know all the bottlenecks, failures, and shortcomings of your business processes, and it is high time to correlate them with the BPM system you’re going to implement. Align the platform with the company’s strategic goals and design a new set of processes. Accept the new procedures and create a deployment plan.

  1. Implementation of BPM software solutions

It can be executed in two ways:

  • You can apply to the systemic implementation, using specific software and technologies;
  • You can select a non-systemic implementation, with no special BPM tools.

Irrespective of the method you are going to choose, the major goal remains the same: you should enable and start the process of software BPM implementation in compliance with your plan.

BPM Software Solutions

  1. Process monitoring

Make sure your new business processes are designed in accordance with the key objectives of the company. Monitor corresponding indicators to find out whether the results of business process software implementation meet your expectations. The list of these indicators includes the duration of process time, financial cost of the process, the performance index of the BPM program, and others.

  1. Process advanced development

This final stage implies continuous process improvement of the BPM software solutions. You should analyze the indicators from the previous step, decide on whether you’ve managed to achieve the strategic objectives, and think over the further improvements. This is the process of continuous transformation, when you lead the system through the funnel of positive change. Try to focus on performance improvement, costs reduction and full customer needs satisfaction – these are the key functional responsibilities of a good business process management platform.

Connected Cars Will Change Our Lives | canariasetourism.net

The internet of things is a wonderful concept that aims to make everything around us connected to the World Wide Web. Google has already made a head start with self-driving cars – as in vehicles that are smart enough to go to the maintenance center for fine tuning according to the next appointment.

In this article, we are going to talk about how connected cars are paving the way for people in the years to come. So without further ado, let’s have a peek at some of the ways smart cars can aid us in our everyday lives.

  1. You’ll Get New Technology At Lower Prices

As we head out further into the future, technology continues to go through the cycle of innovation. There is the ability to stream data from the cloud in real time; the computing speed required to operate artificial intelligence and self-driving; the breakthrough of complex low-cost sensors that allow a car to know of its surroundings; and the software required to get all of this together.

Old and new automobile companies are now looking forward to investing in new technologies and services. It has been evident in the premium market, with companies like Tesla and BMW who are pushing technology beyond expectations.

Aside from this, other types of connected vehicles include low-cost urban pods, robot taxis, and 3D-printed buses.

  1. You’ll Enjoy Digital Lifestyles

There is no escaping the inevitable digital makeover that comes for society as we move on, but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing now does it? What the drivers of the new age can hope to look for are a computerized engine, satellite connectivity, and rear camera.

With that in mind, drivers can also expect to see downloadable apps that can be implemented with their vehicles to make the whole experience more intuitive and convenient. Given how fast product innovation is going to be, the only way to keep with the pace of the changes is to get a hold of instant upgrades.

  1. You’ll Have Omnipresent Routers

In the future, we can expect to see cars accurately perceive their surroundings. For example, it will recognize a traffic jam if there are slow-moving cars around. And how it can tell that there is a parking space if it sees a car moving out between two cars.

So far, the BMWi car is the first fully online electric vehicle to be marketed. The controls and connectivity that it comes with are designed to go well with the vehicle’s green usability.

By cross-referencing the battery power, traffic conditions collected from the internet and the information on the quality of the road surface, the BMW i3 gives the driver the exact picture of how far it can drive with its current charge, as well as recommendations for energy-efficient routes and driving styles.

It is also able to scan charging station networks and determine in real-time which of the stations are the closest to the driver’s planned route. If every other can have the same kind of function, wouldn’t that be a thing of beauty?

  1. You’ll Find That New High-Tech Entrants Drive Faster

Aspiring new unconventional tech companies have been turning a lot of heads lately. They offer new services as add-ons as well as gaining attention for making cars run on their own.

Various technologies include mobileye, which offers entire “system-on-a-chip” solutions for advanced driver assistance systems and Nvidia is involved in making systems for dashboard functions, autonomous driving, and mapping.

Apple on the other end has invested about $10 billion on an iCar, whereas Google is working on an entire operating system for connected and autonomous cars. As a matter of fact, Google’s own self-driving cars have driven 1.5 million miles. Let’s see what else the days to come have to offer us.

Tips For Storing Your RV

For RV owners who aren’t fortunate enough to travel full time the need to store your vehicle will eventually arise. If you don’t have a full sized RV garage built into your home, or extra space in your driveway, you’ll probably end up at a storage facility capable of storing your RV sooner or later. Although it may seem like you can just park your RV, lock it, and return many months later, there are a few steps you’ll want to take to ensure your RV is in top shape come next season.

Tips For Storing Your RV

The Storage Space

The first step to successful RV storage is to find a good space. Generally speaking you’ll have two options available; open or enclosed spaces. Open spaces are best for people who live in warm, arid regions. The combination of warm weather and a lack of humidity create the perfect environment for storing your RV. However, if you live in an area that has damp, cold, or the possibility for extreme weather your best bet is an enclosed space. After additional security, one perk to enclosed spaces is the opportunity to have it climate controlled. A climate controlled space will reduce the amount of work you need to do to winterize your vehicle, as well as reduce the wear and tear on your RV by eliminating extreme temperature and humidity changes.

Clean the RV

Before placing your RV in storage you’ll want to clean the entire inside and outside. Follow normal vehicle washing procedures and include a UV protective car wax or other RV safe coating. This will reduce the opportunity for rust or other unwanted visitors like dust, or sunlight from damaging your paint job. Vacuum the carpets, scrub the shower, toilet, and counters. Take extra care to clean appliances like ovens, microwaves, and refrigerators. Additionally remove all food items as this will prevent odor buildup and reduce the likelihood that rodents will try to make their home in your RV.

No H2O

You’ll want to remove all the water from your RV’s pipes, tanks, and drains to prevent them from freezing or growing mildew. Use compressed air to clear pipes and water lines. Take extra caution for plastic, rubber, old, or weak water lines as the compressed air may damage them. Empty the water from fresh water tanks, as well as the water heater and toilet. To prevent any remaining water from freezing and damaging the lines you can flush RV safe anti-freeze through the lines and tanks. This isn’t the same stuff you put in your car so you’ll need to verify that it is RV safe (non-toxic and suitable for use in potable water supplies). To err on the safe side you can place about 1 cup of RV safe anti-freeze in every drain.

Engine and Battery Prep

In order to prevent damage to your engine or fuel system while the RV is in storage you’ll need to top off all the fluids. If you’ve just finished up traveling and plan to lock up your RV for a few months consider having the oil changed and all the fluids checked. Be sure to tell the mechanic that you’re planning on storing your RV for the off season so they can offer you the best products. To protect your battery you’ll want to have it fully charged before storing. Turn off the RV circuit breaker and all electrical systems and appliances before storing. This will prevent battery drain and prolong the life of your batter. If you live in extremely harsh conditions and don’t plan to put your RV in a climate controlled unit it may be best to keep the battery inside your garage. Follow storage and handling instructions printed on the battery for best results and safety.

Protect the Tires

Sitting for long periods of time can cause damage to your RV’s tires. To prevent this use your RV’s jacks to lift some of the weight from the tires (be sure to consult your owner’s manual about long term jack use first). If jacks aren’t an option you can return to your RV once a month and move your RV a half rotation each time to prevent the fullness of the RV’s weight from resting on the same spot. If your RV will be parked in direct sunlight use tire covers to prevent the sun from damaging the rubber while in storage.

Invest in a Full-Sized RV Cover

Purchasing a full-sized RV cover is one of the best ways you can protect your investment. A cover will prevent rain and hail from contacting the RV’s paint as well as protecting the plastic and rubber portions from encountering the sun’s damaging UV rays. For best results, put the cover on after you’ve washed the entirety of the RV’s outer surface.

Additional Concerns

Place a few open boxes of baking soda inside appliances like refrigerators, freezers, and microwaves to keep odors at bay. Close all blinds and window shades to prevent the sun from damaging furniture and carpet.  Empty all trash containers and remove all food items including crumbs and canned food to prevent rodents from entering your RV. Disconnect and store all liquid gas canisters as per local and storage facility regulations. If stored properly your RV will remain in top shape and be ready for use upon your return.

A Traveler’s Guide To 7 Of The Most Adventurous Places To See Nature In Action!

Following are some of the best places to see the wildlife, so let’s jump right in.

1.     Kalahari Desert, Namibia

Kalahari Desert

Deserts are known for some of the unforgettable wildlife experiences. In Kalahari, you will find big cats and meerkats. Amidst red sand dunes, golden grass, and dried rivers the sight is one to behold! However, when the desert is wet, water start to form a pool and rivers begin to flow.

You’d notice even before any sign of water, antelope and elephants arrive and they just sense it that water will be here sooner than later. River flowing out of the desert is no short of a miracle and meerkats escaped to higher ground or at times down. Predators soon followed as a result.

2.     The Danum Valley, Borneo

Danum Valley

With hot humid weather and with the tallest rainforest canopy in the world, Danum Valley is home to orangutans and gibbons. If you stood there with patience, you will also see flying squirrels and gliding snakes. All in all, this Borneo valley houses some of the endangered species.

Sumatran rhino and clouded leopard are examples. A rare treat would be spotting an orangutan with her little one, aggressively shaking tree branches, and that would be a signal to leave the vicinity.

3.     Shark Bay, Western Australia

Shark Bay

Famous for its marine life, dolphins of the Shark Bay are the main attraction. It is one of the few places on the planet where you get to see the wild dolphins, without difficulty. You will also find that the marine reserve at Shark Bay houses turtles, dugongs, rays and sea snakes.

These dolphins come to the beach on a daily basis, and if you are lucky enough to follow them, you can catch a sneak peak of female dolphins catching other fish. From atop (cliff), you can spot dugongs too.

4.     Yellowstone National Park, US

Yellowstone National Park

Some of the epic views of wildlife can be found in Yellowstone. Huge outdoors, this park is renowned for moose, grizzlies, and now wolves as well. You can check out the view on a horseback or via a ride while rafting.

5.     Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda

Queen Elizabeth National Park

East Africa’s best? Well, you have come to the right place. One of the famous safari parks of all time and its beauty is akin to none! It is said a quarter of Africa’s bird species are found here and so are tree-climbing lions (and no, not the quarter of their species, that’d be silly).

In addition to the above, you will also spot elephants, hippos, mongoose, chimpanzees, flamingoes etc. Hippos and elephants can be seen romping in the waters. Plus, although a rarity, you can also catch a preview of mountain gorillas.

6.     West Coast of Scotland

West Coast of Scotland

The coast alongside the Isle of Mull can be termed as heaven. Memorable wilderness and few of the largest seabird settlements in Europe sums this place up. Be on the lookout for white-tailed sea and golden eagles, basking sharks and seals when you visit.

7.     Al Hajar Mountains, Oman

Al Hajar Mountains

The mountain life is superb! Breathtaking views of the ‘wadis’ and especially, the ‘Green Mountains’, Al Jebel al Akhdar is the highlight of the region. Villagers live on the mountainside and water flows in the form of countless channels to facilitate gardens of grapes, pomegranates, apricots, and walnuts.

Specific to Al Hajar are its mountain goat (a rare breed), nimble mountain gazelles, sunbirds, Indian rollers and Nubian vultures – an endangered species.

So should you decide to travel and are interested in wildlife, be sure to check out aforementioned places. Add these to your to-do list.
